Roanoke police seek Christiansburg suspect in August rape case

Roanoke police are investigating a Christiansburg man who is a suspect in an August rape case, police spokeswoman Aisha Johnson said.

According to a warrant filed in Montgomery County Circuit Court on Wednesday, a Roanoke woman told police the 33-year-old man had knocked on her door to inquire about the whereabouts of her female roommate, whom he’d met on a dating website called Plenty of Fish.
