Investigators say speed was factor in Saturday’s fatal crash in Dublin

Misty Dawn Davis, 26, died at the scene after she was ejected from the front passenger seat of a 1995 Acura Integra that was traveling north on Virginia 100, near the New River Valley Airport. Police responded to the crash at 5:50 p.m., according to a Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office news release.
The driver of the vehicle, Dustin Hodges, 24, of Max Meadows, ran off the road and went into the median, causing the vehicle to roll several times, the release said. The car ended up in the southbound lanes.
