App maker Atomic Axis to open Blacksburg office
A mobile-application developer based in Austin, Texas, announced Tuesday that it plans to open a small office in Blacksburg.
Atomic Axis plans to initially hire five employees, Chief Technology Officer Marcus Turner said Tuesday. He said his goal is a 30-person office within two years.

This is great news – again. Blacksburg-Christiansburg are seriously poised to become one of those key US destinations where a dynamic university-technology-small town feel with larger community amenities and phenomenal natural surroundings can create good paying jobs and attract new residents with exceptional skills to the region.
