Montgomery County officials do triage on schools
Facing a daunting shortage of money for upkeep, Montgomery County school officials sat down Tuesday to decide which facilities had the most pressing needs for maintenance or replacement — and decided that a list created six years ago is still accurate.
Aging Christiansburg High School and overcrowded Christiansburg Elementary School will be first to be helped when money is available, school board Chairman Wendell Jones said.
