Marine gets 40-year sentence for fatally stabbing Christiansburg man
The North Carolina Marine who pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing his then girlfriend’s husband was sentenced today to 40 years in prison.
Don Nathan Walker II, 27, was charged with the first-degree murder of James Matthew “Matt” McPeak, 25, who was found bludgeoned and stabbed to death in his Christiansburg home on Dec. 21, 2010.
