Radford Army Ammunition Plant may be fined for acid leak into river

The U.S. Army and contractor BAE Systems at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Montgomery County could be fined for releasing a small amount of leaked acid into the New River during an equipment breakdown at the plant this past summer, according to recently released information from Virginia regulators.
