Crews fight Montgomery County brush fire
Crews from several agencies are battling a brush fire just west of Christiansburg, a Montgomery County emergency dispatcher reported this afternoon.
The fire is around the 3200 block of Peppers Ferry Road, the dispatcher said. She did not know the exact size of the fire but described it as large.
The blaze began around 12:40 p.m. today, the dispatcher said.
