Sheriff’s office warns of break-ins
Authorities are asking Montgomery County residents to be aware of suspicious people or vehicles after a series of daylight break-ins occurred during the week.
Several of the break-ins happened in the areas of Walton and Virginia 114, according to a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Police believe that burglars are breaking into residences while homeowners are away and taking various items, including jewelry, medication and firearms, according to the release.
