Giles County parent wants school leaders to hold public meeting before classes resume
Giles County schools are scheduled to return to classes Thursday, though a concerned parent has started a petition demanding that school officials hold a meeting to brief the public before classes resume.
Holly Ferrell-Perfater, who has two children who attend Narrows Elementary/Middle School, said that she started an online petition Tuesday.
Melissa Powell of The Roanoke Times has more on this story.
