VT online master’s degree ranked third in the nation
Virginia Tech’s online Master of Information Technology degree was ranked among the country’s top distance learning courses, the university announced last week.
U.S. News & World Report ranked the interdisciplinary program third in the nation in its category, behind University of Southern California and Sam Houston State University in Texas, according to a university news release.
The master’s degree is a joint offering of the College of Engineering and the Pamplin College of Business.
Additionally, the release stated that the College of Engineering ranked 13th overall in the nation for Best Online Graduate Engineering Programs for 2013.
