Parts of two Pulaski Co. schools closed due to structural issues

  1. This looks like more incompetence in government and we need to look at who exactly is in charge of taking care of our schools and the grounds.
    Are these people qualified to do such work?

    Are they closely related to any particualr people in our local government that seem to give out these jobs to relatives who would otherwise be unemployable elsewhere?

    Look at Blacksburg.,
    They built the old high school on old swampy soggy ground that drained poorly and on top of a fault.
    That group of maintenance workers failed to keep drainage tiles and roofing drains working which led to water undermining the foundation which allowed the walls to collapse.

    I think our tax money that should have been spent on actually doing the work to preserve our public buildings has been going to support a bunch of do nothings and a lot of know nothing good old boys club members in most of our small towns and cities in our corner of far southwestern Va..
