Mellow Mushroom coming to downtown Blacksburg
Mellow Mushroom, a popular restaurant chain known for its gourmet pizzas, a wide selection of craft beers and an eclectic dining experience, is coming to Blacksburg, company officials said Thursday.

Mellow Mushroom, cannot hold a light to The Cellar. All people want is chain. People do not support this garbage food

We’re looking forward to this. We’ve eaten at several other locations, like Charlottesville, Columbia, and Savannah…and it’s well worth it, especially since they offer a great gluten-free pizza.

Ate at the Mellow Mushroom in Asheville. Was not impressed.

Love how the chain haters come out…while they roll in to keep bburg up, meanwhile ANOTHER boutique shuts down….

This is great news! Have eaten several times at the MMs in C’ville and Myrtle Beach and pizza’s always been consistently good. The Cellar and MM are completely different and there’s certainly room for both in B’burg.

Mellow Mushroom is excellent. Finally, good pizza in Blacksburg. Cellar pizza is heavy and greasy, so I wouldn’t hold an ignitable light to it.

Just what Bburg needs, another pizza place! I’ve been to the ‘MM’, and worked at The Cellar for years … The Cellar has NO worries! Hey, maybe they can move into Backstreets!

Ate at the one one Charlottesville, very good pizza. Can’t wait to go to this one.
And the chain haters don’t seem to care that an open business in Blacksburg keeps people employed.

I look forward to having a Mellow Mushroom in town. I’ve eaten at the one in C’ville before and thought it was great. And hey, I’ll probably get served in a timely manner unlike at The Cellar!

While I support local businesses and frequent them, I honestly do enjoy the consistency of chains. I also like being able to view their nutritional information online (allbeit, I haven’t checked for Mellow Mushroom) and knowing exactly what I’m putting into my body.
