Fire destroys Shawsville home
A fire that officials believe started around the chimney and spread quickly over the roof has destroyed a Shawsville home.

From my point of view watching the home burn, it wasn’t the fire that destroyed the home. It was the fire department not knowing how to put the fire out.
They spent more time arguing with each other on how their equipment worked and who need to do what than working to put out the fire.
Once the others arrived, Christiansburg and Roanoke County, they did the work to get the job done.
