Dedmon Center serves student athletes

I am writing in response to Richard B. Callahan’s letter, “Let everyone use the Dedmon Center” (March 18).

Radford University’s Department of Athletics’ primary mission is to help our student-athletes excel in the top tier of the Big South Conference and at the Division I level of NCAA athletics. The Dedmon Center’s performance enhancement and competition space is vital to this mission and to the success of our 19 men’s and women’s teams.
