The aquatic center is a success for Christiansburg

After the Christiansburg Aquatic Center had been open for approximately nine months, I wrote a commentary for The Roanoke Times that started, “The big question asked by Christiansburg town citizens in the beginning was, ‘Why are we building this huge facility?’ From the signing of the building contract to the moving of the first shovel of dirt to begin the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, there were rumbling waves echoing from town residents (myself included). I am now a strong supporter.” (“The aquatic center has been a success,” April 24, 2011)
Hallock lives in Christiansburg and is a member of the town’s Aquatic Advisory Board.
