Someone didn’t put on their thinking cap. The county should accept the offer and then place it in a 10 year conservation easement if they don’t have the funds now to make into a park. There are land conservancies all across the country that have funding available to localities and groups – they could easily arrange an agreement and preserve this valuable open space in the midst of a rapidly growing region. Anyone?!?!?!?!??!?!?!
