I am in partial shock. I find myself (horrors) in agreement with Christian Trejbal. The Christmas Parade, a/k/a Holiday Parade, should not mired in the mud by leftist, anti-American groups like Organizing for Virginia in the New River Valley. Merry Christmas.

Blacksburg does its best to be politically correct EXCEPT when it comes to speaking or mentioning anything but Christian. Holiday parade?? Winter festival of light??? Winter parade?? Winter solstice?? Good grief, Christian!! I’m surprised you’re not a member of town council as yet. I don’t think any of them can say the word CHRISTMAS either. It IS a Christmas tree, and it IS a Christmas parade. If you want to include any every group including perhaps the KKK, then why is CHRISTMAS excluded from the Blacksburg elite vocabulary??!! It’s pretty obvious this town must ALWAYS be PC. Disgusting!! If only town officials knew how most people view Blacksburg: uninviting and snobbish.
