‘Minds Wide Open’ exhibit features art by CHS students March 1
The Montgomery Museum and Lewis Miller Regional Art Center, in conjunction with the statewide “Minds Wide Open” celebration focusing on children in the arts, is pleased to announce the opening of an exhibit featuring work by Christiansburg High School students. This exhibit will be the “kick-off” event for four months of celebration of children in the arts. Watch for information on upcoming events in New River Valley that recognize the wonderful talents of our young people.
A “Meet the Artists” reception will be held at the museum March 1 from 5-7 to celebrate the work of Carrie Lyons’ and Joel Gibbs’ students with some focus on children. The public is invited to see the fine work of these students and celebrate their talent.
