Margaret Beeks to celebrate 50th birthday in October
Margaret Beeks Elementary School in Blacksburg will celebrate its 50th birthday on Oct. 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Party-goers will be treated to cake and a “walk through time” to celebrate Margaret Beeks’ past and present. The school is looking to borrow memorabilia from Margaret Beeks’ past, especially from the 60s, 70s and 80s.
The school hopes to use class pictures, candids, T-shirts, and various other items from former students, or parents of former students. All photos will be scanned and returned to its owner.
The school is located at 709 Airport Road.
