NRV Progressive Men’s Club announces 2012 scholarship recipients
The NRV Progressive Men’s Club is pleased to announce the 2012 recipients of the Claude “Les” Pack and Joseph “Crickett” Smith Scholarship awards.
Jasmine Anderson of Pulaski High School and Tiffany Blassingame and Cameron Johnson of Christiansburg High School were selected, and they will each receive $1,000 for their academic excellence and contributions to the community. The club’s scholarships were established in 1989 to assist college-bound students defray some of their educational expenses. The club would like to thank the community for its continued support, which allows them the opportunity to reward graduating high school seniors in the New River Valley.
