Blue Demon Marching Band holds Oct. 5 pregame chili dinner
The Christiansburg High School band will be holding a chili dinner in the school’s cafeteria on Oct. 5, just prior to Christiansburg’s varsity football game against Pulaski County.
The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and, along with chili, will include a baked potato bar, salads, cornbread, drinks and desserts.
Proceeds from the event will be used to cover the expenses of away games and competitions, instruments and other expenses the group of more than 60 members includes.
The dinner is $6 for adults, $4 for students older than 12, and $3 for those 12 and younger.
