St. John Neumann to host book fair Dec. 6-12
St. John Neumann Academy will be hosting a book fair at the Christiansburg Barnes & Noble location from Thursday, December 6, through Wednesday, December 12, 2012.
On Friday, December 7, from 1:30-2:30 there will be a musical petting zoo presented by Music Comes to Town, and at 2:00 special visits by Tom Angleberger, author of Darth Paper Strikes Back: An Origami Yoda Book and The Strange Case of Origami Yoda, and Cece Bell, author of the Sock Monkey Series. Polar Express story time with cookies and activities will occur at 7 p.m. on Friday.
Saturday brings Connie Wohlford and Joy Comes to Bethlehem at 1 p.m. Other special in-store events such as crafts, face painting, Santa Claus, a magician, Christmas carols, and a scavenger hunt are planned for Friday through Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In addition, gift wrapping services will be available during these times with the proceeds benefitting the Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program.
