Shelor Motor Mile accepting applications for $1,000 scholarships
Shelor Toyota is proud to offer $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors for the 2012-13 school year. Scholarships are available to seniors in high schools in the New River Valley: Auburn, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Eastern Montgomery, Floyd, Giles, Narrows, Pulaski and Radford. These scholarships are open to all students, regardless of career ambitions.
“Scholarships make the dream of attending college come true for many students. Our students and their parents really appreciate the support and generosity of local businesses and organizations that sponsor these scholarships,” said Brenda Peters, counselor at Auburn High School.
Shelor Motor Mile has provided $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors in local high schools for more than a decade. and is committed to continuing this program. The scholarship program has provided more than $110,000 to graduating seniors since its inception.
Applications can be picked up at all high schools or Shelor Motor Mile. To qualify, the application must be completed by March 15.
