CHRISTIANSBURG — The streets were cleared in downtown Christiansburg Wednesday evening to make room for a blue and gold train of musicians, firetrucks and floats, as well as football players and cheerleaders of all ages.
The annual Christiansburg homecoming parade kicked off just after 7 p.m. and made its way down Main Street to the cheers and applause of friends, family and fans.
The Blue Demon football team is scheduled to host Franklin County in CHS’ homecoming game Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
