This is the Hokies’ last chance

BLACKSBURG — In recent years, the Virginia Tech story line entering the ACC Tournament was always the guessing game of how many more wins the Hokies needed to bounce off the bubble and into the NCAA tournament.
This time, the Hokies know exactly how many more games they need to win: four.
To make the NCAAs for the first time since 2007, the 10th-seeded Hokies (15-16, 4-12) will have to go 4-0 and win the ACC Tournament, which begins today in Atlanta.
