Virginia Tech golfers find little to smile about at NCAAs

A Tech club that flew west on Saturday, seemingly performing at peak form, found itself trying to stay out of the cellar. The Hokies, who started Wednesday tied for 24th at 15-over, faltered to a second-day total of 18-over 302. Tech is tied with Memphis for 27th at 601, 29 off the pace.
