Virginia Tech’s Bruce Taylor still feeling injury but ready to play

Structurally, Bruce Taylor’s right foot is sound. The surgery Virginia Tech’s inside linebacker had in November for a Lisfranc injury and the months of rehab after have gone to plan.
Still, there remains a slight but persistent pain, one the senior will have to endure this season. It’s an expected post-surgery side effect apparent whenever he runs and the morning after workouts, and it usually lasts a year.
