Lane Stadium evacuation plan gets striking upgrade

The last time the Virginia Tech football team was supposed to open its season with a visit from Georgia Tech, a lightning-related delay resulted in fans jamming into the concourses or staying in the stands until the game was finally called off. Twelve years later, the teams are once again scheduled to open the season at Lane Stadium.
