At their Monday, Aug. 27 meeting, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors recognized the Montgomery County Angel All-Stars for their play this summer. The MC All-Stars are the 2012 Dixie District 6 Softball Champions and the 2012 Virginia State Dixie Softball Champions. The team finished fifth at the 2012 Dixie Softball World Series in Troy, Ala., becoming the most successful team in Montgomery County Parks and Recreation’s history to date.
