Virginia Tech’s Brent Benedict, Michael Via will rotate on guard duty

Between Brent Benedict’s physicality and Michael Via’s experience, Virginia Tech offensive line coach Curt Newsome thinks he has a pretty good starting right guard.
As it is, the plan is to rotate the two during the Hokies’ season opener against Georgia Tech on Labor Day night.
“One brings something to the table that the other one doesn’t,” Newsome said.
