Hokies cornerback Kyle Fuller intercepted an ill-advised Georgia Tech pass in the end zone and Cody Journell made a field goal that amounted to an extra point to lift No. 16 Virginia Tech to a thrilling 20-17 season-opening win Monday night at Lane Stadium.
