Christiansburg Rec to hold Punt, Pass and Kick contest
The Christiansburg Recreation Department is holding its 2012 Punt, Pass and Kick competition for boys and girls ages 6 to 15 at Christiansburg High School on Sept. 15 at 10 a.m.
Participants will get one attempt to achieve the longest and most accurate punt, pass and kick, with the winners from each age group advancing to the sectional competition.
Registration for the event will begin at 9 a.m. Ages will be based as of Dec. 31, 2012, and each participant must have present a copy of his or her birth certificate to register.
Cleats will not be allowed.
