Weather journalist Kevin Myatt sees a perfect night for high school football:

Friday night looks to be ideal for high school football, with no hint of rain. Temperatures will fall through the 70s into the 60s during the games.

Here are the New River Valley teams in action:
* Patrick Henry at Blacksburg, 7:30 p.m.
* Christiansburg at Bassett, 7 p.m.
* Richlands at Pulaski County, 7:30 p.m.
* Floyd County at George Wythe, 7:30 p.m.
* Radford at Galax, 7 p.m.
* Giles at Narrows, 7 p.m.
* Eastern Montgomery at Covington, 7 p.m.
* Auburn at James River, 7 p.m.

We’ll have photos from many of these games, so check back for those — or share your own at news@theburgs.com, or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.

This past week, we had photos from Radford vs. George Wythe, Auburn vs. East Hardy, and Christiansburg vs. Carroll County.
