Pittsburgh ends Virginia Tech’s 13-game road winning streak

It wasn’t just the defense, which missed tackles and blew coverages all day. It wasn’t just the lines, which got little push up front. It wasn’t just the running game that didn’t gain yards. And it wasn’t just quarterback Logan Thomas, who was off the mark all day.
It was everything, and it was all ugly in No. 13 Virginia Tech’s 35-17 loss to Pittsburgh at Heinz Field on Saturday.
