Results from Christiansburg Punt, Pass and Kick contest
The Christiansburg Recreation Department held its annual Punt, Pass, and Kick contest for boys and girls ages 6 to 15 at Christiansburg High School Sept. 15.
The results:
Girls
6/7 yr old
1st place — Kadyn Camper. 45 ft 8 inches. (Only female competitor.)
Boys
6/7 yr olds
1st place – Mason Self 76 ft 3in
2nd place – Byron Burks
3rd place – Thaxton Henley
8/9 yr olds
1st place – Tripp Compton 143 ft 6 in
2nd place – Conner Brizendine 134 ft 9in
3rd place – Logan Kouns 125 ft 6in
10/11 yr olds
1st place – Bryce Long 163 ft 6in
2nd place – Oakley Williams
3rd place – Rally Williams
12/13 yr olds
1st place – Tommy Darr 210 ft 2 in
2nd place – Nathaniel Meredith
3rd place – Garrett Brizendine
14/15 yr olds
1st place – Justin Cerv 266 ft 7in (Only participant in this age group)
All winners move on to the Section Competition at Alleghany High School on Oct. 7. This is for a chance to participate in the Team Championships at a Washington Redskins game.
