It’s a bye week for Christiansburg and Auburn, but other high school football teams around the New River Valley are in action tonight.

Here’s who’s playing:

* Blacksburg at Lord Botetourt, 7 p.m.
* Pulaski County at Magna Vista, 7 p.m.
* Rural Retreat at Narrows, 7:30 p.m.
* Eastern Montgomery at Bland County, 7:30 p.m.
* Floyd County at Fort Chiswell, 7:30 p.m.
* Tazewell at Giles, 7 p.m.
* Virginia High at Radford, 7:30 p.m.

If you’re going to a game, weather journalist Kevin Myatt says you’re in luck:

The run of ideal Friday nights for high school football will continue. This Friday will be much like a repeat of last Friday, with dry weather, and temperatures falling through the 70s into the 60s during the games.

We’re expecting photos from some of these games, so check back for those — or share your own at news@theburgs.com, or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.

Last week, we had photos from Pulaski vs. Richlands (from Jon Fleming), Auburn vs. James River (from John Wimmer), Blacksburg vs. Patrick Henry (from Wendell Jones) and Christiansburg vs. Bassett (from Jeannine Cooper).
