Dual-threat Cincinnati QB to test Virginia Tech
Among the lofty goals Virginia Tech had entering this season was to lead the nation in rushing defense, something that seemed logical considering last year’s No. 14 ranking.
Through four weeks, the Hokies are nowhere close to that goal, with their stiffest test to date up next on the schedule.
Cincinnati will bring its 12th-ranked rushing attack, a group averaging 259 yards per game, to FedEx Field in Landover, Md., on Saturday. Led by quarterback Munchie Legaux and running backs George Winn and Ralph David Abernathy IV, the Bearcats attack the entire field, trying to get their athletes in space.
