The Dodge brand and Shelor Motor Mile Dodge teamed up with Pulaski County High School Soccer Boosters on Friday, Sept. 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. and raise $5,000 to support the PCHS Football program.
With the cooperation of local dealers such as Shelor Motor Mile Dodge in Christiansburg, the Dodge brand supports local schools and student enrichment programs in communities across the country. Last year, Dodge donated nearly $467,000 to local high school booster clubs through the Dodge Booster Club Fundraiser.
“Drive-A-Dodge was a definite success,” said Teresa Viers Saul, president of the Pulaski County Boys Soccer Boosters. “I think this fundraiser shows how proud we are of the young men who play soccer for Pulaski County and that they have our support both on the field and off!”
According to Saul, a “big chunk of the money” will be used to buy VHSL-approved uniforms for the upcoming season.
For each person who took a brief test drive at the event, Dodge donated $20 to the high school athletic program. Shelor Motor Mile Dodge provided vehicles, and dealership staff assisted with the test drives.
