Dayspring’s Lady Lions finish regular season undefeated

The Lady Lions of Dayspring Christian Academy in Blacksburg finished their regular season with an undefeated, 16-0 record.
Dayspring captured the VACA Southwest District regular season title. The Lions are led by three seniors: middle blocker Rachel Cook, outside hitter Meili Johnson and middle blocker Casey Miller.
Sara Albano, Alison Pearsall, Molly Stanfield, Faith Adams and Ashlyn Vest make up the rest of the Lions’ varsity roster.
Dayspring will be a No. 1 seed in the South Region Tournament on Oct. 19.
