Blacksburg's Cortney Martin competed in the International Triathlon Union Age Group World Championships on Oct. 22 in Auckland, New Zealand.
On Oct. 22 Blackburg’s Cortney Martin represented the United States at the International Triathlon Union Age Group World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand.
Martin earned a 10th-place finish in her age group — 45-49 years old — with a total time of 02:35:16. Within her age group, Martin also scored the fifth best time in the cycling portion of the race at 01:11:08 and the sixth best time in the running portion with a time of 00:42:40.
