ACC title not out of reach for Hokies yet

For as many early season disappointments as Virginia Tech has had, as many errant throws or missed tackles that have contributed to an uncharacteristically slow start, the Hokies could still take a giant step toward one of their preseason goals tonight.

It’s not a matchup of Top 25 teams, but when Virginia Tech (4-4, 2-2 ACC) travels to Miami (4-4, 3-2) for a nationally televised showdown at Sun Life Stadium, the inside track to a Coastal Division title will be at stake.
