Tonight’s football forecast: A cold end to the regular season
The high school football regular season comes to an end tonight — although the play-offs beckon ahead for some lucky New River Valley teams.
If you’re going to a game tonight, here’s what weather journalist Kevin Myatt advises is in store:
Wear your warm clothing to high school football games Friday night – temperatures will be in the 40s with some breezes. But it will be dry, and there won’t be any 60 mph wind gusts or snow around like earlier this week.
If you have photos from any of the games, you can share at news@sosalem.com or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.
Last week, we had photos from:
* Christiansburg vs. Cave Spring (from Jeannine Cooper)
* Blacksburg vs. Pulaski (from Wendell Jones)
* Floyd County vs. Radford (from Jon Fleming)
It was Christiansburg’s homecoming, and we’ve gotten some reader-submitted homecoming photos, which you can find here. There’s still time to share more!
