Blacksburg sweeps Region IV cross country championship

The Blacksburg train keeps on rolling.

Sweeping the boys and girls team titles at the Region IV cross country championships Friday at Sugar Hollow Park, the Bruins moved a step closer to defending their Group A state titles.

Blacksburg’s Nick Link and Hidden Valley’s Carolyn Bethel repeated as individual champions on a sunny but cool and breezy afternoon.
