The high school football post-season starts tonight. Six New River Valley teams are still in action:

* Bassett at Christiansburg
* Magna Vista at Pulaski County
* James River at Giles
* Floyd County at Riverheads
* Radford at Clintwood
* Eastern Montgomery at George Wythe

Weather journalist Kevin Myatt says it’ll be a good tonight to see a game:

“High school football’s perfect weather this fall continues into the postseason. Take jackets to playoff games Friday night, as temperatures will fall through the 50s into the 40s during the evening. But it will be dry, ideal November football weather.”

Last week we had photos from Pulaski County vs. Salem from Jon Fleming Christiansburg vs. Blacksburg from Jeannine Cooper. You can share your photos at news@theburgs.com or use the “share” tool to upload 10 at a time.
