Giles makes state semifinals in volleyball

The Giles Spartans volleyball program entered uncharted territory Tuesday night.
Thanks to a balanced team effort, the Spartans got off to a fast start and defeated Central of Wise County 25-14, 25-23, 25-21 in the Group A Division 2 state quarterfinals.
