Radford women’s standout suspended
Why has the Radford women’s basketball team been without its best player the past four games?
Coach Tajama Ngongba said Friday that two-time All-Big South first-team pick Da’Naria Erwin Spencer is serving an indefinite suspension for an undisclosed violation of team rules. The senior guard still practices with the team but has not been with the squad the past four games.
Ngongba said Erwin Spencer will be reinstated at some point but would not say when that will be. Radford is 2-2 without her.
