Blacksburg boys, Pulaski girls win at Region IV indoor track championship
Pulaski County’s Syndey Anderson (left) won five individual events, edging Blacksburg’s Kendell Wiles in the 300-meter dash, to lead Pulaski County to the girls team title in the Region IV indoor track and field championships on Saturday at Virginia Tech’s Rector Field House. With winners in every running event from the 300 through the 3200, and with supporters scoring lots of additional points in those events, Blacksburg dominated the team championship with 144 points. Read more at Roanoke.com.
