It’s that time of year again! Shiny ornaments, decorated trees and gift wrapping fill stores everywhere. But there is one subject related to Christmas that really makes people have an opinion: Christmas music.
From “White Christmas” to “Grandma Got Run over by a Reindeer,” there are many Christmas songs for the “most wonderful time of the year.”
I think the music should start after Thanksgiving. Others may start their holiday traditions as early as September. “Here Comes Santa Claus,” “Do you Hear What I Hear,” “Where Are You Christmas,” “Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree,” and “Jingle Bells” are just some of the Christmas songs heard over and over every year until January. Even classical songs dating back decades make their way on the radio for every one to hear each Christmas.
As 2013 comes to an end, these songs will continue to get everyone in the spirit of Christmas.
