Let the FURminators fly

We have two winners in our FURminator giveaway.

First, Laura shared a tale of intrigue, suspense and nobility about her brave kitty Chester. Click here to read the story and follow the link in her comment to see pictures of her feline trio. She will get the feline FURminator and the waterless de-shedding shampoo/conditioner to help her keep her kitties' coats in royal style.

And then faithful blog reader Kim wrote a dialog between her three pets, cats Shade and Gracie and pooch Cali. This is the picture she sent to illustrate her need for the de-shedding tool. The photo sealed the deal. Her brood definitely requires regular FURminating.

Thanks to all who commented. Keep watching for future giveaways (my swag is your swag.)

And a big thanks to the good folks at FURminator for generously giving me the goodies to share with readers. They make an outstanding product.

Thank you so much for my FURminator! I'm going after Cali with that thing as soon as I get my hands on it!

Congrats to Laura as well! That story was so creative and unique I could just picture in my mind HRH Chester saving the day!

WOW! Nona I just got the Furminator today. We've already filled a bag or two with cat hair. I am thrilled at how well this is working!

Thank you :)

Kim, Whoa. I have the same problem with hair on all my stuff. I had the foresight to pick out cats with black, brown, orange, grey, and white hair. None of my clothes are safe!

Well, I used the FURminator on Cali this weekend for the first time. I started with the shampoo and conditioner as directed and then went after her with the device. I was not clever and tried it when she was still wet when the directions clearly stated to wait until the animal is dry! Anyway, once she was dry we tried it and I got several wads of hair off of her. I think the deshedding shampoo/conditioner helped as well because she had a ton of hair come off during that process. I'm going to work on her some more with it because I know we have a long way to go! Next in line are the cats and I can't wait!!

Oh, by the way - the shampoo/conditioner made Cali's coarse fur feel very soft and she smells great!

I can vouch for the fact that Cali smelled good. I helped Kim wash her and afterward, she smelled like a pina colada.
