Adoptable pet and food drive

Angels of Assisi is hosting an adoption and pet food drive on Saturday, April 9 at Rescue Dog at Towers Mall.

The event takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the lunch-counter-style, hot dog eatery located on the upper level, across from Wildflour Cafe.

The no-kill shelter is looking for donations of Purina pet food(dogs, cats, pups and kittens), cat litter, toys or other pet-related supplies.

Food other than Purina can be donated and will be passed on to needy families.

There will also be adoptable pets to meet and greet (like Mozzeltoff pictured here who is not only handsome but has a totally awesome name) and if you have only temporary room at your inn, you can get information about fostering.
